Cyclocross Results 2006

Josh Jamner ('09) and Sarah Hart ('10) recently finished their 2006 cyclocross campaign. Both racer's were new to cyclocross at the start of the season, but that did not hold them back from gaining some impressive finishes for Colby this season. Sarah's season highlight was a 3rd place in the Women's B field at the ECCC championships, held at UNH. Josh overcame mechanical issues to place 6th in the Men's C field at Eastern's, while placing 3rd in the Collegiate Men's C field at the Chainbiter 8.0 race, held in Farmington Connecticut. Josh also raced his first "killer B" cat 3/4 race at the BRC/Slickwilly Cyclocross and placed 27th. Final rankings for Collegiate Cyclocross are yet to be made available as racing action continues up through the national championships, which the pair hope to attend next season. For now, they are looking forward continuing to improve for next season, keep up the great work!

I've been playing with some of the features on a website called http://quikmaps.com. It's a pretty nifty website and it lets you make custom map overlays for Google Maps. You can then save them and import them into a website or blog.

For this blog, I just dragged and dropped the size of the map until it was 400x400 pixels. I think this has a lot of potential for the cycling website.
